Amani Centre for persons with disabilities is a non-governmental, non-political, non-profitable non-profit sharing, non-religious and gender-free organization. It is owned by the Roman Catholic Dioceses of Morogoro (No. SO 2098) and is located in the Chamwino ward, Morogoro, Tanzania.

Vision

Amani Centre's vision is that children and youth with intellectual disabilities in the Dioceses of Morogoro are identified and provided with basic needs such as health care basics and vocational education, food, shelter, safe and clean water on a sustainable basis to enable them to live a normal life.

Within the past years Amani has grown and now has three centres: Chamwino main-centre, Mvomero sub-centre and Mikese farm sub-centre. The Amani Centre is also collaborating with various local and international organization including universities.
