What is the Child Sponsorship Scheme?
Friends of Amani Tanzania UK with Amani Centre have identified disadvantaged children that greatly appreciate support with their education from long-term donors in the UK. The close working of FOAT and Amani Centre, together with digital communications, allow children to fulfil their educational aspirations whilst donors receive detailed information about the children's progress. The scheme is rewarding for both parties and is changing lives for the better.
How do I support?
Would-be donors should contact FOAT directly for further information. We would kindly ask for your support for at least one year, after which you can decide whether to continue. As the number of children reaching out to Amani for support increases, the need for new sponsors is as important as ever. Your support truly makes a huge difference to the children living at Amani - giving them the opportunity of an education and a bright future.

August 2021 Update
Many more children and young people have sought support from Amani over the past year and Amani now currently have 35 children who permanently reside at the centre, of which 21 have sponsors.
We would love to find sponsors for the remaining 14 children. Please do get in touch if you are interested.
Supporting these children through the child sponsorship scheme means the Amani Centre can continue to accept new children and they all continue to have have the opportunity of an education, much needed therapy, essentials such as clothes, food, shelter and the love and care of the Amani community.
